BEFRIENDING SERVICE: THE MOBILE FRIENDS
THE MOBILE FRIENDS is a pilot project that has been earmarked to consolidate the help giving to young/teenage mothers who are finding it difficult to cope with motherhood, pregnancy, broken relationship, divorce, being new parent, going through bereavement , depressed, abused or who have no friend or relative.
This services is run by Everlasting Evangelical Ministry though the use of mobile phones. Volunteers start work between 4pm - 8pm by calling all who have booked for the service or to receive calls. However Service can call at anytime.
All Volunteers are CRB checked and we have a duty of confidentially to keep our conversation confidentially and to make sure that your mobile phone numbers are well protected. Volunteers will be able to recommend other help especially if it is determined that a professional at a particular field will be the best person to help. We have professionals working for us to speak to you on the phone uopn referral.
As time goes on, there will be schedule parties for all mobile friends to meet and socialise.
